Many media outlets have reported on the arrival of former circus bear Jambolina at Arosa Bear Sanctuary on December 11, 2020. After a four-day, 2,400-kilometre journey from Ukraine, she arrived safely and has now settled in perfectly here.

A good thing, …
Jambolina and her fellow bears, who were rescued by FOUR PAWS from poor conditions, will find a place here where they can enjoy the rest of their hopefully still long lives in a species-appropriate way and in the most beautiful mountain landscape with pastures, bushes, rocks, streams and forest. The bear park is also an experience for young and old: from the large platform at over 2,000 m above sea level and the 80-metre-long adventure trail, you can see the bears up close and get a feel for what the ideal living conditions are for these beautiful animals.
