What was the deciding factor in choosing Davos as the location?

Davos is a logical next step for us. As specialists in home ownership and second homes, we have been serving clients from Switzerland and abroad for years who wish to buy or sell a vacation property in Davos or Klosters. At the same time, we assist local property owners with their real estate needs and successfully position and provide brokerage services for new construction projects featuring primary and second homes for real estate developers.

Our experience in St. Moritz and Flims has shown us how important it is to be close to the market. Real estate is a matter of trust. That’s why we want to be present where our clients live, invest, and spend their free time.

With the opening of its office in Davos, Ginesta is already opening its tenth location. What does this milestone mean for the company?

The upcoming opening of our tenth location confirms that we are successfully and sustainably implementing our growth strategy. We are continuing to expand in a targeted manner in areas where we see long-term potential and genuine added value for our customers.

We already serve the Davos-Klosters region from our office in Chur. With the new branch office, we’ll be even closer to the market and will be able to provide local customers with even better and more flexible advice and support.

How has demand for real estate in Davos changed in recent years?

Demand for Real Estate in Davos has risen significantly in recent years and remains at a high level. Attractive primary and secondary residences in prime locations are particularly in demand, including as a safe investment. At the same time, supply remains limited, which supports price growth.

Davos benefits from a high quality of life, excellent infrastructure, and its appeal as a year-round destination with an urban character. Demand has long since ceased to come solely from traditional vacationers. More and more people are looking for a second home from which they can work flexibly and regularly spend time in the mountains.

Who will be serving the customers in Davos?

The new office is headed by Nadine Suter. She lives in Davos herself, knows the regional real estate market inside and out, and has many years of experience in the real estate industry. Thanks to her strong regional network and in-depth market knowledge, she is a knowledgeable point of contact for property owners, buyers, and investors. Together with the entire Ginesta network, she ensures that our clients benefit from local expertise and the strength of an established real estate company operating throughout Switzerland with an international network.

What services are offered in Davos?

In Davos, we offer a full range of services related to home ownership. These primarily include Sales and Brokerage of real estate, as well as property appraisals, initial leasing, and the positioning and marketing of new construction projects.

To this end, we draw on the resources and expertise of our headquarters in Küsnacht and our entire network of locations. We do not offer traditional property management or STWEG administration.

The official opening of the new office is scheduled for late summer 2026. As soon as the time comes, we will hold an open house and invite all of Davos to enjoy a bratwurst and a drink at our new location.
