Fundamentals of the brokerage business

Whether buying or selling a property – the interests of sellers and buyers could not be more opposed. The aim of the buyer is to acquire their desired property at the lowest possible price; the seller, on the other hand, tries to achieve the highest possible price for their property. In view of the regional differences in how the real estate market works, but above all because of its increasing complexity, it is worthwhile for both potential buyers and sellers to consult a specialist. Even those who undertake the search for a home on their own and believe they can manage without professional assistance will be confronted with a real estate agent at the latest when they come across a suitable property and want more detailed information. It is no coincidence that more and more sellers are seeking the advice of a trained real estate expert. A successful sale requires a high level of specialist knowledge and experience. Anyone wishing to sell a property today, especially in the upper price segment, is well advised to consult a qualified specialist who has knowledge of construction technology, civil and building law, tax and tenancy law as well as civil law (condominium ownership and inheritance law) and insurance issues, for example.
