Ginesta is now also at home in the heart of Zurich

Even though Ginesta has always offered properties in the city center of Zurich and knows this market like the back of its hand – every third property valued or managed by Ginesta is located in the city of Zurich – we have not had an office in the city center for over 50 years.

In 1965, after twenty years, company founder Achilles Ginesta moved the business from Rämistrasse to Küsnacht, where our head office is still located today, due to the precarious parking situation.

Of course, the parking situation has not improved significantly since then, but there are still many good reasons for having a presence in the city:

• Many sellers and buyers of Real Estate live or work in Zurich. Creating an opportunity for meetings here is an obvious choice.
• Long journeys to acquisitions, estimates and inspections in the city are neither economically sensible nor ecologically appropriate. We can effectively counter this with our new branch.
• Comprehensive letting contracts, such as the prestigious “Weisses Schloss” property, as well as individual lettings in the city center, can be managed more efficiently from close proximity.
• There are also days when it makes sense for the Ginesta administrations to be closer to the properties they manage in the city and to be able to hold meetings with clients and service providers centrally in Zurich.
• In future, employees will have the opportunity to be even closer to their customers. In future, workplaces at Ginesta will be exactly where it makes sense to be every day. This promotes work-life balance, company-wide professional exchange and cross-branch collaboration.

We are therefore delighted to have opened our wonderful and completely refurbished Art Nouveau office premises at Dreikönigstrasse 34 in 8002 Zurich, which are now open with a large meeting room and eleven workstations. An exquisite environment that, in our opinion, suits us perfectly. Because we can reveal this much here: The internal opening ceremony was an all-round successful event at which everyone immediately felt at home in the new premises.

To give this presence as a returnee to the city the right drive, we are now on the road in the city with our smart new company car in a 360-degree ginesta look. In line with the current sharing concept, where many people share a car instead of many cars being used by a few. Incidentally, there are also parking spaces for visitors – unlike in 1965.
