For the second time, Open Doors Engadin invites you to take a look behind the scenes on June 24 and 25, 2023: Legendary hotel buildings, picturesque Engadin houses, modern apartment buildings, churches, school buildings, infrastructure buildings, museums and architects’ studios will open their doors to the public. These include numerous buildings that are usually not accessible to the public, or only to a limited extent. And once again there are over 90 buildings in the portfolio, a third of which are new additions compared to last year.
Supporter from the very beginning
For the company Ginesta, which has been active in the Engadin for a very long time and has had an office in St. Moritz since 2019 and successfully sells an average of 25 properties in the region every year for its clients, it was clear from the very first edition that Open Doors Engadin was an important event that absolutely had to be supported. After all, the built environment plays a key role in shaping the quality of a region, and in the Engadin and Bergell, we can be really proud of what has been built here in the past, what is being built today and what will be built in the future, for example with the InnHub La Punt – incidentally, this is also one of the objects of this year’s event that can be integrated into the individually tailored program.
International standard here and there
Exceptional architecture knows no national borders and many of the gems on display, from the newly opened four-star Hotel Maistra 160 in Pontresina to the Julier Tower, which incidentally will be on display for the last time this year, bear an internationally recognized signature of distinction. This is another connection that Ginesta has deeply anchored in its values. With around sixty employees, the family-run real estate company has an excellent international network and thus offers its clients access to solvent potential buyers around the globe, especially when selling an exclusive property.
Meeting point Ginesta
In addition to the opportunity to visit the buildings individually, there will also be guided tours and walks again this year. The newly renovated Ginesta office at Via Serlas 23 in St. Moritz will serve as a second festival hub alongside the St. Moritz tourist office. You can find out what opportunities there are to explore the buildings in groups with experienced guides, how to register and everything else about the free visits at www.opendoors-engadin.org.
Ginesta is giving away 4 tickets for the Hartmann Special Architecture Walk
Attractive guided tours are always booked out quickly and this special walk is one of the highlights where you can learn lots of interesting facts about the buildings you visit first-hand. If you really want to take part, you can now take part in the prize draw. Simply send an email with the subject line “Hartmann Special” to Franco Giovanoli, the branch manager of Ginesta Immobilien AG in St. Moritz, by June 16, 2023:
