    What is the advantage of a new-build apartment?

    The advantage of new-build apartments is that they are constructed according to the latest building standards and take modern living requirements into account. This includes energy-efficient construction methods, contemporary floor plans and high-quality materials and building services.

    Another advantage is that buyers can often have a say in the interior design – such as floor coverings, kitchens or bathrooms. This means that the apartment can be customized in many cases.

    In addition, new buildings generally incur lower renovation or maintenance costs in the first few years than older properties. Modern heating systems and good building insulation also contribute to lower energy costs.

    What happens if the construction is delayed?

    In the case of new construction projects, delays may occur in individual cases, for example due to weather conditions, delivery bottlenecks or unforeseen construction processes. As a rule, the planned occupancy date is therefore defined as an expected date in the purchase agreement or in the sales documentation.

    If construction is delayed, buyers will be informed in good time and notified of the new schedule. The definitive handover date is not set until the construction work has been completed and the apartment is ready for occupation. The aim is always to adhere to the construction schedule as reliably as possible and to provide buyers with transparent planning.

    When can you move into a new building?

    It is possible to move into a new-build apartment as soon as the building is completed and officially ready for occupation. As a rule, this takes place after completion of the construction work, acceptance of the building and the technical commissioning of systems such as heating, elevator and building services.

    The exact date depends on the progress of construction and is usually specified as the planned move-in date in the purchase contract or in the sales documentation. In the case of new construction projects, this date is often several months after the purchase.

    Can I adapt the floor plan and furnishings of a new-build apartment myself?

    In many new-build projects, buyers can select materials, kitchens, bathrooms or floor coverings within a given budget. Depending on the progress of construction, adjustments to the floor plan are also possible.

    How does the payment plan work for new construction?

    The purchase price for new builds is usually paid in several stages – for example, at the start of construction, when the shell is completed, when the interior is finished and when the keys are handed over.
