…Ginesta Immobilien is opening its own valuation desk under the management of a highly qualified real estate valuer. By offering independent valuations of private and institutional real estate, the company has further expanded its activities in the service sector.

Change of ownership
…Claude Ginesta buys the company from his parents. Since then, he has not only been CEO, but also owner of Ginesta Immobilien AG.

Establishment of a separate administration
…the subsidiary Ginesta Immobilien Verwaltungen AG is founded with Ralph Geigle as managing director and partner.

Expansion at headquarters
…Ginesta Immobilien is relocating its Küsnacht headquarters to larger, generously proportioned premises on Obere Wiltisgasse to accommodate the constantly growing team.

Boom in Graubünden
…followed by the founding of Ginesta Immobilien Graubünden with a location in Chur, which opened up the Graubünden market area and was successfully managed by Sascha Ginesta as partner and managing director.

Growth on the Silver Coast
…Ginesta Immobilien is opening a branch in Horgen to be closer to properties on the left bank of the lake and in the cantons of Schwyz, Zug and Aargau.

Joining an international network
…Ginesta Immobilien joins the international real estate broker network “Leading Real Estate Companies of the World”. It is present in 70 countries with over 550 companies, employs around 135,000 people and is considered one of the world’s most important networks for high-quality real estate marketing (as of 2022).
2001
Entry of the third generation
…André and Evelyne’s son and current CEO of Ginesta Immobilien, Claude A. Ginesta, joins the business and the company takes another step towards growth.
1975
Management change and transformation
…Achilles entrusted his son with the management of the family business and André Ginesta became CEO of Ginesta Immobilien AG. Under André’s leadership, who was later also actively supported by his wife Evelyne, Ginesta Immobilien developed into one of the most important real estate agents in the greater Zurich area.
1969
Entry of the second generation
…Achille’s son André joins his father’s company. As the eldest of six children, he is the only one who has caught fire for real estate.
1945
Move to the city of Zurich
…the real estate business begins to flourish and Ginesta Immobilien moves into premises on Rämistrasse in downtown Zurich. The parking situation becomes so precarious that Achilles moves its business back to Küsnacht in 1965. Success and growth continued.
1944
Foundation of the Ginesta company
…Achilles Ginesta laid the foundations for the Küsnacht-based family business. As an authorized signatory of a trading company that invested in real estate in addition to its core business, he familiarized himself with the notarial profession. In a difficult economic situation, he ventured into self-employment and founded “Ginesta Immobilien, Export und Import” in Küsnacht – the first professional real estate company in the region.
