The best-selling property

The Zauberberg Suite Hotel in Davos
was initially sold to a hotel investor. After two years, the investor sold it again and we were able to sell it to a consortium that converted the hotel into charming condominiums. With the subsequent sale of the condominiums, we have thus sold the property three times within four years.

The most prominent buyer

The company founder Achilles Ginesta sold Thomas Mann a house in Kilchberg on February 2, 1954. Thomas Mann’s house also influenced some of his literary works. André Ginesta, 13 years old at the time, still has vivid childhood memories of the famous buyer Thomas Mann visiting the Ginesta family home and toasting the new house.
 

The most valuable home in our company’s history

The transaction for the luxury villa in St. Moritz Suvretta with large reserves of building land gis certainly one of the ten most expensive private villa transactions in Switzerland. After purchasing the Villa Mira Margna, the buyer also acquired the neighboring Schahvilla.

The largest condominium

We were entrusted with the marketing of an 800 m² apartment in Zurich. Our slogan: “Zurich’s largest condominium”. Two callers angrily informed us that they had larger apartments in Zurich! The Tages-Anzeiger subsequently stole our photos from its homepage and wrote an article about the “Largest condominium in Zurich”. The result: an angry client and a withdrawal of the mandate, but also an appointment with the editor-in-chief of the Tages-Anzeiger, who admitted his mistake.

The most beautiful castle in Switzerland

With its
history (the builder was the viceroy of Italy and stepson of Napoleon) and its size of over 80 hectares, Eugensberg Castle is one of the largest and most beautiful castle estates in Switzerland. We succeeded in finding a buyer for the creditors of the bankrupt estate of Hugo Erb AG in a private sale within eight months of the start of the sale.

The most alpine object

We were entrusted with the
sale of a chalet with a farmhouse, chapel and restaurant in Val Sinestra (Lower Engadine) for a foundation. The property was built by Wilhelm Mengelberg, the famous conductor and founder of the Amsterdam Concertgebouw Orchestra. The ensemble covers an area of over 160,000 m², lies 1,711 m above sea level and, depending on the snow situation (e.g. danger of avalanches), is not accessible at all or only with special vehicles in winter. It is now run as a restaurant and guesthouse and is a popular excursion destination in the Lower Engadin.

The most beautiful lakeside property

We have been looking for a buyer for the listed Villa Alma in the municipality of Männedorf at
. The villa became famous through the television series Lüthi and Blanc. There was a retirement home in the house, which would have had to leave the property when it was sold. A very wealthy, over 90-year-old resident found out about this and called the home manager in. She wanted to know how much longer he wanted to work before he retired. She then made the municipality of Männedorf an offer to purchase the villa on a building lease for 25 years. The accumulated ground rent was transferred immediately. This secured the operation of the retirement home and the job of the home manager. With this solution, the municipality will soon be able to make another decision about the future of Villa Alma.

The most favorable object

In Küsnacht, we have sold a 900 m² plot of land with a forest hut adjacent to the forest. The distance from the forest prevents further development. The plot was sold a few years ago for less than CHF 100,000.

The most beautiful hotel

The Hotel Seehof in Davos has been through turbulent times
. It went bankrupt in the 1990s and was bought by a bank, which sold it as part of a Portfolio to a hotel group. We successfully sold the hotel for them – to the original owner, who had to give up the hotel with a heavy heart in the 1990s due to canceled bank loans. The Hotel Seehof is the gateway to Davos and today, with its 5 stars, is one of the
best hotels in Switzerland.

The fastest sale

At Zürichberg, we were entrusted with the
sale of an exclusive villa belonging to a well-known business leader. The personality was in the crossfire of the media every day. The task was to complete the sale quickly and very discreetly without any media attention. We found the buyer with a direct approach and were able to complete the transaction with a viewing in a short space of time. The media only picked up on the sale months later.
