Sascha Ginesta

Licensed Business Economist, Licensed Real Estate Assessor, Certificate of Advanced Studies UZH in Urban Management

Sascha Ginesta has been working for the family business Ginesta Immobilien in various functions in Küsnacht, Horgen, Chur and St. Moritz since February 2009. He has been responsible for our clients in Graubünden since October 2012. In addition to managing the team in Chur and St. Moritz, his current responsibilities as Head of brokerage region of Graubünden include the development of marketing strategies and marketing concepts, market analyses, sales optimization consulting for new construction and renovation projects, buyer and seller consulting, and appraisals of all types of properties throughout Graubünden.

Sascha Ginesta possesses profound expertise on the real estate industry, and also holds Swiss national certification as a Real Estate Appraiser. Prior to joining the real estate industry, he gained invaluable experience in the world of banking, and was working in various capacities for Graubündener Kantonalbank – including his executive management function for the Lenzerheide branch, as well as his consulting services to clients with private wealth, where his primary duty was to consult on financial solutions for real estate. Concurrent to career development, he completed studies at the University of Applied Science HTW in Chur, where he earned his MBA (Master’s degree in business administration).

He has been active in local politics in the municipality of Vaz/Obervaz since 2016. After six years as a municipal councillor (Department of Works and Sport), he has been a member of the municipal parliament since 2022. Sascha Ginesta is also a member of the building committee and the local planning committee of Vaz/Obervaz. For years, he has been intensively involved with the effects of the Second Homes Act and the Spatial Planning Act and is looking for solutions to the challenges associated with these laws and the housing shortage in the tourist regions of Graubünden. In 2023, Sascha Ginesta obtained the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Urban Management at the University of Zurich.
