Laura Garcia Navarro is our new site manager in Winterthur

The handover recently took place in Winterthur. We met with Laura Garcia Navarro to find out what has changed since the office opened, what her plans are, and how she prepared for her new role.

Dear Laura, how are you today?
I'm doing very well, thank you for asking. It's a great feeling to be able to take on responsibility here in Winterthur. At the same time, I naturally feel a sense of respect for the task ahead. But above all, I'm delighted to be able to contribute my energy, experience, and passion for marketing here and to make my mark on the office with my own personal style.

That sounds like a lot of change. Is it really necessary?I am able to build on a solid foundation. Although Winterthur is one of Ginesta Immobilien's newest locations, it is already well established. My predecessor created a strong network, which I am now able to strengthen and expand further. I have been part of Ginesta for just over a year and am very familiar with its structures and culture. The great thing is that I don't have to reinvent anything, but can continue to develop what already exists. At the same time, change always brings opportunities – and I want to use these to position the Winterthur office even more strongly in the market.

What specific initiatives do you want to implement? Where do you want to go?My focus is on raising Ginesta's profile in the region even further. "Winterthur is a dynamic real estate market and a lively cultural city – centrally located between the city of Zurich and the cantons of Thurgau and Schaffhausen, making it an important hub in the region. The city offers a variety of residential areas, a high quality of life, and a rich cultural offering that makes living here particularly enjoyable. I would like to further sharpen our brand's profile here: competent, personal, and with a clear understanding of our customers' needs. At the same time, I see great potential in working closely with local partners and building a strong local network."

How did you prepare for your new job?
I have been working in real estate marketing for over 13 years and have gained a wealth of experience during this time – both professionally and in customer service. At Ginesta, I have had the opportunity to grow in positions of responsibility, most recently as a senior real estate marketer. In addition, I have been involved in challenging marketing projects over the past few years, constantly acquiring new knowledge. I have also been involved in development projects, which has further broadened my horizons. All of this has prepared me step by step for my new role.

What motivates you when you come to work in the morning?
I am motivated by the idea of supporting people through such an important step as buying or selling a property. Every customer has their own story, and I get to accompany them on part of their journey. I enjoy finding solutions and implementing them, and I value personal interaction with customers.   The trust of my customers means a lot to me—and it fulfills me when I leave satisfied and happy customers behind.

What gives you energy and balance outside of work?
I find balance primarily in exercise—whether it's Pilates, walking, or hiking in nature. I enjoy traveling, discovering new cities and countries, and finding culinary inspiration along the way. In addition, my family and friends provide me with support and give me new energy.

So you're well prepared. Do you still have any reserves left?
(laughs) Yes, I'm convinced of that. I really enjoy my job – and that enjoyment is my source of energy. I see so many exciting opportunities in Winterthur: from expanding the office and increasing our visibility in the region to brokering properties that set new standards. My job will be to work with our team to put this energy to good use.

Thank you very much, Laura, for this inspiring conversation. We wish you and your team in Winterthur every success.
