SCHAUEN invites you to sharpen your focus and open yourself up to new perspectives. hAns frischknecht’s works open up new aesthetic approaches through the combination of light, material and space. Works from the following three creative phases are on display:

As a company that is rooted in the region, we see our branches not only as places to work, but also as lively spaces that offer room for dialog, creativity and culture. With our exhibition series, we want to give local artists a platform and at the same time bring people together in an informal atmosphere. <\/p>\n
On three evenings, we cordially invite you to a personal exchange with the artist hAns frischknecht. At an artist’s aperitif at our office in Winterthur, you will have the opportunity to find out more about his work and his motivation – and of course to ask questions or simply linger over the pictures. Admission is free, all interested parties are welcome.

hAns frischknecht, born and raised in Zurich, can look back on a varied artistic career. His first works were created between 1978 and 1984 in the fields of object art, drawing, painting, video and free theater. From 1987, he worked internationally as a lighting manager for concerts, films and special effects.
Since moving to Winterthur in 2016, he has been increasingly active as an artist again. His work today includes object art, light interventions, UV direct prints, light objects and video works.
He is a member of the Zurich Artists’ Association, Kulturlobby Winterthur and Kunstort Winterthur. <\/p>\n
