Security starts at home<\/h3>\n\n

Last year, Winterhilfe supported over 47,000 people. These included families, single people and children. Around 8% of the Swiss population is considered to be income-poor, which means that a single unforeseen expense can be enough to trigger a crisis. We are therefore pleased to be able to make a concrete contribution this year and provide relief to people who find themselves in a difficult situation through no fault of their own. For many, this support simply means that their home remains intact – and with it a sense of safety and security. <\/p>\n\n
