Gross yield is&nbsp;only relevant in terms of earnings performance for new-build properties. This criterion can therefore only be applied to newer buildings (10 years old maximum).<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_7\">Gross yield is&nbsp;calculated on the basis of the following formula:<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_7\"><span class=\"color_3\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Gross yield&nbsp;= gross rental income x 100 : market value<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_7\">Whereby: gross rent = rental income excluding ancillary costs<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_7\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Remarks on gross yield: <\/span>gross yield is simple enough to calculate, but nevertheless hard to interpret.
