Ginesta Immobilien AG, the successful Küsnacht-based, family-owned company has been among the top real estate service providers in the Canton of Zurich since 1944.
The family firm was established by Achilles Ginesta, who laid the cornerstone of the business in 1944. When he was the authorized representative of a trading company in Küsnacht, Achilles Ginesta developed a fascination with real estate. He cultivated his deep interest in land and properties, and took the bold step of establishing an independent firm at a challenging time in the world economy. The first professional real estate company on the eastern shores of Lake Zurich, Ginesta ran his business from a small office in his own home. Then, in 1965, the company opened its doors on Oberwachtstrasse in Küsnacht.
Several years later, son André joined his father's business. Under André's tutelage, Ginesta Immobilien established itself as one of the leading real estate companies in the Greater Zurich region. Ginesta Immobilien is considered a trailblazer in the Swiss real estate sales industry, because(with few exceptions)no other family-owned and operated business has managed to endure since 1944 in a market environment that becomes increasingly challenging each year.
In 2001, André and Evelyne saw the family business grow when their son, Claude Ginesta, joined the firm. The company has since achieved yet another step in its growth. Today, its 16 employees are dedicated to bringing the substantial knowledge base of Ginesta Immobilien to a sophisticated clientele, yet with a personal touch and individualized approach.
